Cooking directions. To make cornbread: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan or cast-iron skillet and set aside. 2. Combine cornbread mix with melted butter, milk, and egg. Stir just until the mixture comes together and mixture is smooth. 3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 18-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Enjoy!
