It's so delicious! How can I make it last longer? Our loyalty to traditional artisan baking, a fundamental age-old bread-making tradition by hand with special attention to ingredients and baking in stone deck ovens, means our breads are as pure as possible. You won't find chemicals, anti-molding agents and preservatives often found in frozen or mass-produced breads. That's why it's best to enjoy Nature's Promise products within a day or two of your purchase. Maximize your enjoyment with these handy tips: Place bread in a plastic bag (i.e., Ziploc) or enclose it with plastic wrap and leave it at room temperature. Never refrigerate the bread - it will stale faster. Our bakers recommend "refreshing" the crust by removing the bread from the plastic and placing the bread in a hot oven - 350 degrees F - for three to five minutes. The crust will regain its crispiness and flavor and the crumb will have a softer texture. This refreshing process works well with any bread that might have "lost" its crust due to humid weather or environmental conditions. Leftover bread has many uses, such as bread crumbs, panzanella (bread salad), bread pudding or croutons.
