Make the world's best oatmeal at home. Bring water and salt to a boil. Add quick cooking rolled oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes. Servings: 1 serving of 1/2 cup of oats; 1 cup of water and a pinch of salt. 2 servings of 1 cup of oats; 2 cups of water and 1/4 tsp of salt. 3 servings of 1-1/2 cups of oats; 3 cups of water and 1/4 tsp of salt. 4 servings of 2 cups of oats; 4 cups of water and 1/2 tsp of salt. Microwave Instructions: In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup quick cooking rolled oats, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt. Cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Stir well before eating. Makes 1 serving. Store in a cool, dry place. Keeps best refrigerated or frozen after opening. Tear to open.
