What You'll Need: 2.2 lb (1 kg) of diced chicken, lamb, beef, seafood or vegetables; 3 cups (570 g) of basmati rice; Optional: 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt. Cooking Instructions: 1. Sear meat or vegetables in a hot, oiled saucepan. 2. Add the simmer sauce and stir until bubbling. 3. Cover pan with lid, reduce heat to low and simmer tender. (Approx 20 mins for chicken or vegetables, longer for red meats). 4. Serve with steamed basmati rice. Delicious with yogurt. Our Tip: For some extra zing, try stirring 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt into your tikak masala before serving. Store unopened in a cool, dry place.
