Cooking instructions: Microwave: Pour bag of frozen vegetables and 1 cup water into 2 quart microwave safe casserole dish. Cover and cook on for 6 minutes*. Stir, and continue to cook for 15-17 minutes*. Let stand covered 1-2 minutes. Drain; season and serve. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Simmer: Place frozen of collard greens in 1 cup of boiling water. Bring to a second boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until tender, approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: Pour frozen collard greens in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam until tender, approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Season to taste. To store: Keep frozen until ready to use. Store at 0 degrees F (-18 degrees C). Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed. Keep frozen until ready to prepare.
