Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. For food safety cook to 165 degrees F. Cooking Instructions: Use Shady Brook Farms ground turkey any way you would use ground beef. For Patties: Shape into 4 oz. patties, - 1/2 inch thick, and season as desired. Skillet: Preheat a non-stick or lightly oiled skillet over medium heat, about 350 degrees F. Grill: Preheat lightly oiled grill to 500 degrees F to 600 degrees F. Add patties, arrange so they do not touch. Cook 4 to 5 minutes per side until cooked through and a meat thermometer reads 165 degrees F throughout the patty. For Crumbles. Preheat a non-stick or lightly oiled skillet over medium heat, about 350 degrees F. Crumble in a single layer in the skillet and stir constantly 7 to 8 minutes, or until cooked through and a meat thermometer reads 165 degrees F. Tip: To measure temperature, place crumbles into a mound and insert meat thermometer into the center, being careful not to touch the skillet. Keep refrigerated.
