Queen of soul food. Great for poultry. Sylvia's secret. My mom was a great cook and she taught me the secret to incredibly flavorful chicken-rub seasoning inside and out. But not just any seasoning. Take my special blend of herbs and spices and massage it under the skin and sprinkle on top then rub it in about 20 minutes before broiling, roasting or grilling. My Secret Rub will give all your chicken dishes an extra burst of soulful flavor. Just sprinkle and rub right on your favorite poultry or meat. And it makes a great marinade, too! Love, Sylvia. Directions
For a Marinade: Mix 1/4 cup Chicken Rub with 4 tb olive oil and 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice or vinegar. For heat, add some of our Kicking Hot Hot Sauce. It's real good.
