Dear Friend, Barnie, Annie's mascot, was not my first rabbit. That designation belongs to fiver. My family lived in a modest neighborhood with small, wooded lots. Before long, I decided that fiver would appreciate our woods, too. After I had built a ramp from his hutch, he was free to come and go ad he pleased. When I called him in the evening for snacks and food, he would return to his hutch. For safety, I closed the hutch at night. From fiver, I learned about rabbit intelligence and friendship. He became the first of many rabbits, including Bernie. - Bye for now, Annie. Meet Bernie! Bernie was Annie's pet dutch rabbit. When she started the company, Annie chose him to be our official rabbit of approval representing the care and goodness in all of our products. No artificial flavors, synthetic colors or preservatives. Visit Annies.com to learn more about our commitment to a better planet and to get a fun Annie's sticker. We love to hear your feedback! Annie's Way in 6 Minutes: Boil: 6 cups water in a medium saucepan. Stir In: Pasta, bring to boil again. Cook: 4-6 minutes, or until done, stirring occasionally. Drain: Pasta in colander. While pasta is draining. Add: 3 tbsp lowfat milk and 2 tbsp butter to the warm saucepan. Sprinkle: Cheese over milk; stir to combine. Add: Cooked pasta back to saucepan and stir well. Enjoy! Annie's suggestions: For a richer flavor, add an additional 2 tbsp butter. For a creamy, tangy version, replace milk with 1/2 cup lowfat yogurt. Store in a cool, dry place. Push tail to open.
