Food Network Kitchen™ Inspirations Shrimp Scampi Kit. Serves two. What's included: Linguine pasta. Dried onion. Parmesan cheese. Garlic & herb seasoning. Just add: Shrimp. Lemon. Net Wt 4 oz (113g).
What you need: 1-1/4 cups Water. 1/2 lb. Uncooked medium shrimp. 2 tbsp. Butter. 1 Lemon. Optional garnish: 1 Bunch parsley. Ready in under 30 mins. 1. Prep Ingredients: Peel and devein shrimp, if necessary. Chop 1 tbsp. parsley. Optional: season shrimp with salt and pepper. Squeeze 1 tbsp. lemon juice. 2. Melt 1 tbsp. butter in medium skillet on medium-high heat. Add shrimp; cook and stir 3 to 4 min. or until shrimp turn pink. Remove shrimp from skillet; set aside. 3. Add 1-1/4 cups water, linguine pasta, garlic & herb seasoning and onions to skillet; stir. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. 4. Cover; simmer 8 to 9 min. or until most of the water is gone, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. 5. Add shrimp, parmesan cheese and remaining 1 tbsp. butter; stir until butter is melted. 6. Stir in parsley and lemon juice. Enjoy! Chef's Tip: Add 2 minced garlic cloves to the skillet after removing the shrimp in Step 2; Cook and stir 30 sec. Continue on to Step 3. For a spicy kick, sprinkle cooked pasta with crushed red pepper before serving.
