Directions: Microwave: Make a small slit in the pouch to vent, heat for about 1 minute, preferably pouch upright. Handle hot pouch carefully! Conventional: Pour contents into a sauce pan over low heat, or put unopened pouch in hot water. Serve and enjoy! Traditional Indian Style: Combine pouch contents with 1/4 cup of water (or more as desired) heat and serve with rice, bread and vegetables. Mung Dal Stews: Saute two cups of your favorite vegetables (greens, carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, diced onion etc.) or pan brown 1/2 lb meat, chicken or tofu cubes or, brown 1/2 lb of any combination. Mix in contents of this pouch, add 1/2 cup water. Simmer 10 min and add water, salt, pepper and lemon juice to your liking. Mung Dal Soup: Combine contents of this pouch with 1 cup of your favorite broth or water (50/50: water / tomato juice will make a good variation) and heat to create a light, nutritious soup! Add water - 1/4 cup. One minute - Heat & serve.
