Basic chickpeas: Yield 2 cups cooked. 1 cup arrowhead mills chickpeas. 4 cups water. Rinse and sort chickpeas. Place chickpeas in a covered pan with water. Let soak overnight. Change water, bring to a boil then simmer for 2 hours or to desired tenderness. Store in a cool dry place.
