Cooking Direction: Standard Oven: Preheat oven to 450 Degrees F. In an ungreased 1-1/2 quart casserole dish, combine 2 cups boiling water, 1 tablespoon margarine or butter, 2/3 cup 2% milk, sauce mix and potato slices: Bake uncovered about 25 minutes or until top is light brown and potatoes are tender*. Remove from oven (sauce will thicken upon standing) and let stand for a few minutes before serving. *Bake 5 minutes longer for more golden brown top and softer potatoes. Stove Top: In a 2-quart saucepan, combine 2 cups hot water, 1 tablespoon margarine or butter, 2/3 cup 2% milk, sauce mix and potato slices. Heat over high heat just to a boil, stirring frequently; carefully watch heat to avoid boil-over. Reduce heat; cover -and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until - - potatoes are tender (sauce will thicken as it stands).
