Keep frozen. Do not refreeze. Thawing instructions: remove desired amount of scallops from bag and place in a colander under cold running water for approximately 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even thawing. Product may also be placed in a bowl and thawed in the refrigerator overnight. Once thawed, rinse with cold water for 1 minute and drain. Scallops are ready for use in your favorite recipe. Sea scallops are very delicate and should not be overcooked. For ideal flavor, broiling or sauteing is recommended. Bake only as part of a casserole recipe. Scallops are cooked through when they are opaque in appearance.
