The holiday season is about more than just getting – it’s also about giving back. In 2015, we provided 39,268 holiday meals to regional food banks through turkey and ham donations; 1,466 schools were supported through the A+ program; 45,426 kids were educated on nutrition through Passport to Nutrition, Store Tours, and Nutritionist programs; and 1,128,768 pounds of meat were donated to regional food banks. $930,728 were donated through gift cards and in-store charge accounts to help regional food banks fight hunger and with our customer's contributions, 24,877 charity boxes, filled with food items, were donated to regional food bank partners. The season of giving lives throughout 2016 and we appreciate all of our customers who have helped us give back to our communities.

Healthy communities start with healthy kids. We help local schools through our annual A+ School Rewards program and also get in the game by supporting kids’ athletics. In partnership with community leaders, our Healthy Kids Summits educate kids and their families on the importance of nutrition, physical activity and a balanced lifestyle.

In 2005, Giant launched Triple Winner® with the goal of making a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer. Since then, you’ve helped us raise more than $13 million to support cancer research and treatment at Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Center and The Children's Cancer Foundation.
