GIANT FOOD ALERTS CUSTOMERS TO DISCARD GREEN GIANT FRESH ZUCCHINI NOODLES AND BUTTERNUT NOODLES
Giant Food takes food safety very seriously. On July 1, 2019 Growers Express had a voluntary recall of their Green Giant Fresh Zucchini Noodles and Butternut Noodles with an expiration date of June 26, 2019. Giant Food has asked its customers to please throw out either of those products if they have an expiration date before June 27, 2019 due to fear that it might have Listeria monocytogenes.
Giant has received no reports of illnesses to date. Consumers who have purchased either product before the June 27th dispose of it or return it to the retailer for a full refund.
Green Giant Fresh Zucchini Noodles and Butternut Noodles currently sold at all Giant Food locations are safe to consume.
